When out of balance Vatas can be spacey and oversensitive. When in balance they are profoundly creative, enthusiastic and intuitive. Vata is the air element and related to all things that move

You need your spaces to make you feel grounded. Natural materials such as timber, stone and earth. Natural floors with warmth such as timber, cork or slate. Avoid tile flooring. Rugs on the floor are great. Walls with a thickness such as adobe, straw bail, or brick. Avoid concrete or plasterboard walls. Natural light is very important but equally important is to make sure your sleeping room can block out natural light.

Routine is extremely good for you so if you can create spaces within rooms to facilitate this. A place to meditate or do yoga, a place to work, a place to eat. Curate visual ques of program.

You might have a tendency for clutter, (beautiful clutter) but nevertheless clutter. Keep it clean and organised.

Earthy colour palette.

Furniture selection and planning should invite cosiness and rest. Choose furniture made from natural materials with a heaviness or solidness. Antiques are great.
